CD 27- Pets

MASON

I have 2 dogs, Mason and Bella, who I talk quite a lot about on the blog.  Mason is the oldest.  He turned 6 on Halloween.  He has definitely settled down in his old age.  He was adopted from the Humane Society at 2 months old.  I chose him out of a litter of puppies b/c he fell asleep in my arms....little did I know that would be the last time he slept:)  He was such a hyper puppy, from tearing out of the bathroom with a whole roll of toilet paper ready to be destroyed into pieces in the living room or tearing his way out of a screened in window.  He was definitely like Marley from Marley and Me.  But now I think he is finally out of the puppy stage. 

This was a devil costume minus the horns...he did not want his picture taken with those.

BELLA

She is the newest addition to the Busby household and gives Mason a run for his money.  It seems like yesterday when we got her but it's been 2 years.  We adopted her from the AU vet school.  At the time, I was working 8 hours a day outside the house and I wanted Mason to have a playmate.  She keeps Mason young but he thinks she is like the annoying little sister...until it's cold outside and then they bundle up together.  She is definitely a chewer and a digger but hopefully she'll be getting out of that puppy stage soon; at least Mason hopes so.



"Mason, I don't think we're allowed up here."

"Oh well...we're too cute to get in trouble."
